CAMEC’s next generation of the breakaway system is designed to function as the emergency brake system. Every trailerwith a Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) of over 2 tonnes must have the brakes applied for at least 15 minutes.

Every trailerwith a Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) of over 2 tonnes must have the brakes applied for at least 15 minutes, in any event of accidental disconnection between trailer and towing vehicle, as required by Australian Design Rule (ADR) 38.
